SandboxAQ
Mary Pitman, PhD, is the Head of Simulation and Biologics at SandboxAQ, leading drug discovery and biologics technological innovation. Her group focuses on computational methods for antibody design, protein language models, co-folding, and affinity prediction. With software engineering experience across pharma, AI, academia, and the NIH, Dr. Pitman previously developed AI and graph-theoretic methods for drug discovery as a MolSSI fellow with David Mobley and studied under Garegin Papoian as an NCI/NIH Integrative Cancer Research fellow during her doctorate, modeling epigenetic impacts on chromatin mechanics in cancer.
