Ray Veeraraghavan

Ray Veeraraghavan, Ph.D., is Vice President of Science and AI at L7 Informatics, where he leads scientific content strategy and drives adoption of agentic AI across the company's life sciences customers. He brings more than 24 years taking AI and machine learning from opportunity to production in regulated environments, spanning drug discovery, clinical development, companion diagnostics, and molecular diagnostics.

Earlier in his career he architected the AI system behind the world's first AI-enabled rapid whole-genome-sequencing clinical workflow, work recognized with a Guinness World Record and a flagship publication in Nature, and he later led applied AI and data science for a $2.5 billion molecular diagnostics portfolio at Quest Diagnostics.

A hands-on builder as much as a strategist, he holds a Ph.D. from Penn State and has published research cited more than 28,000 times. He is a frequent speaker at industry events including HIMSS, ASHG, AGBT, and BioIT World.
